Google Wave was launched few months ago and many people are still using it, if you still using it then here is good news for you , now Google launched there Wave Extensions Gallery for Google Wave, There are two types of extensions for Google Wave, robots and gadgets. Robots are actual participants to a wave and are meant to automate tasks and respond to certain events or conditions. Gadgets are more like traditional widgets, they are stand-alone apps that live inside a wave.
The complete list of extensions includes the following:
I know for a fact that Google Buzz and Google Wave are two different services. But we can’t discount the fact that their functions are almost similar. So let me ask you this question, since Google Buzz was released, are you still using Google Wave? If yes, then you’d be glad to know that Google has just activated email notification for Google Wave.
Google Wave’s notification works just like all the other Google notification systems – Buzz, Email Alerts for specific search results and others. It sends you email alerts whenever a wave that you are participating in gets an update or whenever a new Wave has been created by your Google Wave contacts.
Google has now brought this possibility one step closer with Wave email notifications. According to The Google Wave Blog, all Wave users should now see the “Notifications” option in their Inbox dropdown menu. Once selecting it, you will be presented with the following choices:
Google recommends the “Immediately” setting so that you never miss out on a wave. Google will only send you a single email between each time you actually visit the wave. Google does this to ensure that you aren’t spammed with an email for every single update that takes place.
Wordpress.com is free blogging platform and it have now more then 10.5 million Blog, there is one good news for Wordpress Blogger now they have announced that WordPress Goes Real-Time with latest Push feature.
The WordPress team has announced in a blog post that the company has turned on support for PubSubHubbub (try saying that fast five times), a move that will get blog content to RSS services (such as Google Reader and Bloglines) much more quickly.
Essentially it’s a way for hosted WordPress blogs to “push” content out as it’s published to the services, rather than waiting for the services to check in for new posts.
PubHubSubbub, or PuSH, is demoed nicely in the “cheesy” video (that’s WordPress’ choice of word, not ours) below. However those of you who want to find out more about the new protocol can do so over at the PuSH project site
Google has announced new filters for YouTube, Safety Mode, an opt-in setting that helps screen out potentially objectionable content that you may prefer not to see or don’t want others in your family to stumble across while enjoying YouTube. An example of this type of content might be a newsworthy video that contains graphic violence such as a political protest or war coverage. While no filter is 100% perfect, Safety Mode is another step in our ongoing desire to give you greater control over the content you see on the site.
It’s easy to opt in to Safety Mode: Just click on the link at the bottom of any video page. You can even lock your choice on that browser with your YouTube password. To learn more, check out the video below.

Google launched a new Android application called “Google Shopper,” that lets you find product information quickly by using your phone’s camera. It can recognize cover art of books, CDs, DVDs, and video games, along with most barcodes. You can also speak “name of the product” you’re looking for, and to make smart decisions.
Once you find a cool product, you can check out prices from other retailers. In addition, there are options for saving a product to favorites (star) and/or sharing it with friends. Moreover, you can browse through history of all the products you’ve found in the past, even when you’re out of signal.
Enough said, here’s a short video demonstrating Google Shopper in action.
