The first solid point is what will motivate Americans to upgrade/buy iPad 3 – the current iPad owners are three times more likely than non owners which will motivate them to buy products within six months of launch iPad. Moreover in the US market 78% of the 10 million products will be sold to the first time buyers.
The things motivate them to upgrade are,
iPad 3 come with 4G(suspect), so that 35% of the buyers are interested. The 25% of product owners and 295 of non owners like the better camera. The retina display is the key for 19% of the owners to buy it. The 26% of the iPad users like the better CPU processor. And most important 14% of the Americans like to have SIRI in their iPad 3.

It seems to be 40.6% of the American users like the iPad 1 features which is launched in April 2010. And 55.1% of the U.S iPad users are most likely to be attracted with the features of iPad 2 which is launched in March 2011.
Almost half of the iPad users have their product with 16GB storage space. And one third of the product sold with Wi-Fi enabled device. The 48% of the iPad users uses 16GB product and 29% of user use the 32GB, and only 15% of users suggest 64GB storage space product.
iPad 3G owners: Usage and Satisfaction:
Only 30% of the iPad users but the product with 3G. In that 29% of the owners tried and not satisfied with its functioning. The 70% of the iPad 3G subscribers are happy with their services. But 30% of the users are not happy with their product even though they are subscribed. Only 19% of users have not yet used the 3G.
Carriers:
The AT&T is only 3G data carrier available on original iPad series. But iPad 2 was also available in Verizon- ready modification. But the survey shows that 66% of the users go with AT&T and 34% of the users stick with Verizon.

If u owns an iPad, it is 1.7% more likely that there will be other iPad owners in your immediate family. It seems to be 23% of non – iPad owners have immediate family members who own one or more iPad’s. And 39% of iPad owners have immediate family members who own one or more iPad’s.
Apps:
Most of the iPad owners have 11 or more FREE apps installed in their device. And the survey shows that 29% of the iPad users most likely to have 21 – 40 apps in their device.
Over half of iPad owners have0-5 paid apps installed and Every fifth iPad owners has ZERO paid apps installed in their device.
Variety of Apps:
iPad’s are mostly used for playing games, entertainment, and social media. Music and reading books. In this Game ranked one among all apps then entertainment, social networkings are follows.
Favorite:
Angry Bird is by far the favorite app. Over 11% reported it as such. And followed by Facebook, Netflix, and Pandora.
The 59% of the iPad owners using it mostly on the couch or in the bed and 34% uses it on the go and remaining 7% at a desk in place of a computer.
Comparison:
On average, females spend about the same time using their iPad’s as they dedicate to their jobs. In terms of time spent using them, iPad’s slightly surpassed TVs for those who own both items.
What’s missing?
According to our open ended question, the number 1 most – missed feature on the iPad is Adobe Flash Player capabilities. Among other wishes: “Better keyboard”. “Better Camera”, “Siri”, “I wish it could cook for me” and “Bring me Beer”.
