Intel and Microsoft want you to buy 2-in-1 devices in 2014. It is still uncertain enough though. The news is that Dell has designed a great, fast, responsive Windows 8.1 tablet with a stunning display. Windows 8.1 is very smooth on top of Intel’s Bay Trail Atom processor having only memory of 2GB.
It hits a nice spot among 2-in-1 devices. A 10.8-inch screen which is large, the size interprets it impractical as a huge (work) computer. And it’s not too big. Its detachable with a screen over 12-inches almost ends the purpose of having a tablet.
But it is not so sure that for the majority of users a detachable method has irrefutable and clear benefits above the traditional laptop design. The truth is that thethin/light detachable keyboards are designed to be used on a desk. The main complaintis with consistency. When the keyboard is attached(laptop mode), the Venue 11 is nice on lap. The keyboard of Venue sometimes flaked out means the cursor would lock or just get simply disappear and never returns.
After some to and fro with Dell and minor changes to the Windows Registry, the system improved a bit. There aresimilar errors with the Surface Pro’s keypad when using on lap.Not to statethe fight of getting a top-heavy design (display has most of the weight) to remain stable while it is placed on your legs.
Some changes in the system and a change in its look with size and shape can be added to make it more comfortable for users or it may get detached from consumers.
