How To Setup Google DNS on Windows XP
1. Click on Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet Connection.
2. Under Network and Internet Connection, Go to Network Connection, now right click on your Local Area Network (LAN) and select properties.
3. Under General Tab, select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click on properties.
4. Now select “Use the following DNS Server addresses” and type the below given IP addresses.
Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8
Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4
5. Click on Ok,
Setup Google DNS on Windows Vista/ Windows 7
1. Select Start > Control Panel > Internet and Network > Network and Sharing Center.
2. Now on the left pane, click on Change adapter Setting. Right Click on your Local Area Connection and select properties.
3. In Local Area Connection Properties window, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on properties.
4. Now select “Use the following DNS Server addresses” and type the below given IP addresses.
Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8
Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4
5. Click on Ok, and then on close and your are done!
