My take on Timer for iPhone

Checking out the simplicity inherent in the App Cubby’s newest app for setting timers, I have certainly become a big fan of it. All you have to do is hit the big button on your iPhone to start the timer. The big button gives you the freedom to choose the time you want. And I fully agree with App Cubby’s David Barnard, when he says that big buttons are incredible in rendering its user to take quick action on touchscreen device. However, unfortunately it has remained one of the overlooked attribute until the arrival of this Timer app for the iPhone.

This newest Timer app for your iPhone will allow you to set up 12 timers at the same time, and that too from the same screen. As regards its visual attribute, I have only one word to describe it - Beautiful! The only negative aspect of using this awesome Timer app lies in its applicability. I am not still convinced as to how many iPhone users will actually use this Timer app, when asking Siri for setting a timer is much faster than opening and using the Timer app without Siri assistance. But by stating this, I don’t want to take away the efficiency in functionality rendered by this beautiful Timer app. Likewise, this Timer app is a perfect substitute for taking help from Siri, in setting a time.

My take on this new Timer app for iPhone is that it is simple and perfect for manual use in setting the time you want to set. It does spell convenience. Hence, comparing its functionality to the Siri assistance inherent in your iPhone might be a grave mistake from my side. As they say - Never compare apples with oranges. So let me look at this Timer app from its functional viewpoint. Howsoever, redundant that I might sound, I still have one word for it - Beautiful.
