AcDisplay App for Android

What is one thing that many Android device lacks in? You can’t guess it? Well, it is Active Display a feature that most of Android Smartphone lacks in. to get on the history part of innovation and introduction then, Moto X was very first Smartphone to implement Active Display. It was implemented on this device and then soon was ported to other device by another OS called ChameleonOS developers.

This Active Display works by displaying your notification in different and minimalist fashion, without affecting entire display. This also provides you information to save battery or so. You can select to follow it or just ignore it. The only set-back or drawback of this app is it applies a bit of limitation to phone with custom ROM.

All thanks to XDA developer AChep, any device withAndroid latest KitKat version with shock firmware can get this experience. The user with Jelly Bean operating system will soon be able to get this application on their Smartphone, as the developer are working to make this available on Jelly Bean too.

The developer are re-designing the whole interface in such a way, so that notification, small banner will be appeared through pop-up or so.

This application does not requires your device be rooted to battery-friendly, which is one of the benefits. The only crucial and important thing to note in this is, it requires your device Administrator status so that all notifications can work smoothly. This AcDisplay is seriously very useful application and is available for download through Play Store that too for free.

It is claimed by developer that this application is developed to be very light and battery saving. The working of application proves these claim to be very much true. Installing this application is not at all painful, but you need to check one thing. Uninstalling this application can be a difficult task, since you have to go through Setting >> Security >> and then Device Administrators and then uncheck ACDisplay before directly uninstalling it.
